Concentrations for Liberal Studies

First Area of Concentration:
Minimum of 24 upper-division units (6 courses) chosen from one subject area from the list below.

Second Area of Concentration:
Minimum of 16 upper-division units (4 courses) chosen from a different subject area in the list below.

Note: A maximum of four units of 190-199 courses may be used between the two areas of concentration. Students must submit a written proposal for advisor's approval prior to enrolling in the course. All courses taken in the two areas of concentration must be taken for letter grade.
